The Azores are a group of nine volcanic islands that belong to Portugal and sit right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean between Europe and North America. They’re known for crater lakes, waterfalls, hot springs, black sand beaches, dramatic coastlines, and some of the greenest landscapes I have ever seen.
